Dreams Moving was founded in 2023 by Monmouth University students Ian Aguilar and Devin Miller, who started the company from their college dorm room in Monmouth University, Long Branch New Jersey. At just 20 years old, we set out with a simple goal: build a moving company that people could genuinely trust.

Without prior experience in the moving industry, we taught ourselves the business from the ground up. Every lesson came through hard work, long hours, and a commitment to constantly improving. During our first year and a half, we dedicated 12–14 hours a day, 7 days a week to growing Dreams Moving—handling everything from scheduling and customer service to loading trucks and completing moves ourselves.

That dedication quickly turned a dorm room idea into one of North Jersey’s fastest-growing moving companies. As of July 2026, we have successfully completed over 1,200 moves, earning the trust of homeowners, renters, families, and businesses throughout New Jersey and beyond.
